Download ebooks from the Bookstore
Click on the ebook of your choice and a pop-up window will appear. Click the “Add
to Shelf” button. You will be brought to the Library where the ebook is ready for
download. Simply click on the ebook with the “Download” ribbon on it to begin downloading.
Add your own ebooks to your Library
In the Library, click “Add book to Library” at the bottom left of the screen. You
can select any PDF or EPUB ebook from your computer to add to the Library. You will
then be brought to the Local Books section, where your ebook will appear on the
shelf.
Read ebooks
Double-click the book which you wish to read. You will be brought to the Viewer.
- Hover over the right or left edges of the book to flip the pages.
- Click the arrow on the right of the screen to pull out the navigation menu and jump
to any page.
- Click “Flipping” at the top right of the screen to switch to Sliding mode (like
a slideshow) or Scrolling mode (like a page-by-page document).

How do I buy and download paid ebooks?

First, log in to your account or sign up for one. Click on the ebook of your choice
and a pop-up window will appear. Click the “Purchase Ebook” button. You will be
brought to the checkout page in your web browser. Simply complete the purchase and
return to KooBits 4.0. You can then click on the ebook with the “Download” ribbon
on it to begin downloading.
Why should I register for an account?
Registering for an account will help us determine your preferred reading genres,
so that we can send you daily free ebooks that are catered to your interests.
How do I download my daily free ebook?
Click on the “Add to Library” button. You will be brought to the Library where the
ebook is ready for download. Simply click on the ebook with the “Download” ribbon
on it to begin downloading.
I missed last week’s ebook. Can I still download
it?
Nope. Each ebook delivered to your Drop Box is only available for free on that day.
My free ebook is different from my friend’s!
Your daily free ebook is delivered to your Drop Box based on your preferred reading
genres. Hence, you may get a different book than your friend each day.
How do I add my own categories?
Click on Add Category on the left navigation menu to create create a new category.
Click on the arrow to the right to rename, delete, or personalize it.
How do I add books to my categories?
Simply click, hold, and drag any ebook in the Free Books, Paid Books, or Local Books
section to the respective category in the left navigation menu. The ebook will appear
in the shelf for that category.
How do I rearrange books on my shelves?
Simply click, hold, and drag your ebook to any empty space on your shelf to rearrange
it. Note that you can only rearrange books in your own categories.
How do I sync my ebooks to another device?
Currently, only Paid Books can be synced across devices. On the left navigation
menu, click the arrow to the right of Paid Books to sync your ebooks.
How do I delete ebooks from the Library?
Click the title label of any ebook and select “Delete it” in the menu that appears.
I can’t zoom in/out while reading my ebook.
You may only zoom in/out in Scrolling mode.
Click “Flipping” at the top right of the screen to switch to Scrolling mode (last
option).
I can’t see my Highlights and Stamps.
Make sure you have set your Viewer to Show Annotations/Koosh. Click the Show/Hide
Annotations/Koosh button at the top right of the screen to show your Highlights
and Stamps.
I can't interact with the features and buttons in
my book.
Try to click on the "Show/Hide Koosh" button (the button on the right side of the
Print button). This button is used to show or hide the Koosh annotations(Highlights
and Stamps, etc).
How do I extract content from an ebook?
Click on the Crop Image button (scissors icon) at the top right corner of the screen.
Drag your cursor to select the area to be extracted and click the tick to extract.
A pop-up box will appear to confirm the extraction. You can then visit the Scrapbook
to view and arrange the extracted content.
How do I access my scrapbooks?
In the Viewer, click on the arrow on the right of the screen to pull out the sidebar.
Click Scrapbook (rightmost tab) to view and rearrange content in your various scrapbooks,
or delete scraps using the Trash button (dustbin icon) for each scrapbook.
How do I return to my ebook after opening my scrapbook?
Click on Viewer again to continue reading your ebook.
