Other Commonly Asked Questions

Yes, our syllabus is 100% aligned with MOE! In fact, 1 out of 2 Singapore’s MOE primary schools are currently using KooBits in their math classes to supplement students’ learning.

As parents ourselves, we worry about screen times too. That’s why we’ve designed KooBits to be effective with only 20 minutes of use a day. After all, we believe that consistency is better than intensity.

KooBits also limits the math games and math stories to a maximum of 25 minutes a day to avoid excessive use. We also shut the website down at 10pm for optimal sleep time.

However, parents have the option to extend your child’s KooBits usage if needed. For example, by assigning homework worksheets. You also have the option to print out these worksheets, so your child can work on them without looking at the screen.

All of your child’s activity in KooBits is tracked to determine strengths and weaknesses of your child at a topic and sub-topic level.

With this information, the platform delivers personalized questions, at the appropriate difficulty level for your child. This level is challenging enough to stretch your child’s mind, but not too challenging to demotivate him or her, or too easy to cause boredom.

Our system can also determine “knowledge decay”, especially for older topics that have not been revised recently.

Anytime. 20 minutes is all you need to get benefit from KooBits.

Many of our users practice KooBits in the morning before going to school, some after coming home from school, straight after lunch. Others practice at night, before or after dinner.

Short and flexible enough to fit into your child’s schedule.
